Sakura Haven Homestay – Placement & Matching Process

Host Registration

A small Host Family Processing, Approval and Registration fee applies each year, with just $19 charged at each 6-monthly home visit and approval. Blue Card security checks.

Initial Review
Sakura Haven reviews your location and assesses the suitability of your home for hosting.

Host Training
Hosts are provided with Training Materials to prepare for welcoming international students.

Host Interview
A member of the Sakura Haven team will conduct an interview with you to get to know your household.

Home Inspection
We carry out a homestay inspection to ensure your home meets our hosting standards.

Final Approval
Once approved, your homestay is officially registered and ready to welcome students.
